Another aspect differentiate in a striking way with world Projects, is the final uses of the
new district created. If in the major international Urban‐Rail Redevelopments the main
use is offices and commercial use, in Spain, by contrast, the majority use is housing.
This will always depend on each city and the necessary market studies, but it is logical
that if what is sought is to create a new centrality around a very important transport node
such as a High Speed Train Station, to increase value of these soils, a more balanced mix
of uses would be highly recommended to achieve this goal.
