Even if the liberalization of the energetic market has allowed to the companies of railway transport to contain and even, in some case, to reduce his invoice of energy, this model seems to be exhausted before the pressure of the demand, the continuous raises of the price of the crude oil and the lack of prices of reference. It becomes, therefore, necessary to develop and to stimulate measures based on the saving and on the energetic efficiency.

 

Later they are described the actions and projects that FGC is carrying out in this sector bearing in mind that, in addition, in Catalonia the Program of Saving and Energetic Efficiency approved by the Govern of the Autonomous government of Catalonia is obligatory for the organisms dependent on the same one.
