Natural gas is an alternative to diesel in several modes of transport like road transport (buses, trucks and cars) as well as sea transport. It is an alternative fuel which allows significant reductions in emissions when compared to conventional propulsions, something that makes its implementation highly recommended, at least in a phase of transition until other technologies even more efficient reach a higher level of development.
